How to Add a Widget/Gadget to Blogger (7 Steps)

Step 1
Go to www.blogger.com from a browser using computer or mobile phone.

Step 2
Sign in to Blogger using your Google account username and password.

Step 3
Go to the menu of the blog in which you want to add gadget/widget and select 'Layout' option.

Step 4
Click 'Add gadget' where you want to add widget. A pop up window will open.



Step 5
To add any widget, click widget name or '+' icon at the end of the respective row.



To add third party functionality to your blog, select 'HTML/Java Script'. Add suitable title and paste the code in the box below the title.



Step 6
Customize the widget and click 'Save' to save it.

Step 7
To change the placement of gadget click and hold the gadget and move where you want to place (can't be done on mobile devices). Then click 'Save arrangements' at the top right.
